A responsive setup for heavier inshore lure fishing
The Shimano Nasci 4000 XG FD Limitless Heavy Inshore Spinning Combo pairs a 4000-size spinning reel with a 7ft Heavy inshore rod rated for 5-10kg line and 10-35g lures. The Limitless features a 30/40T carbon blank for a crisp, responsive feel, while the Nasci 4000 XG FD offers smooth winding, a fast 6.2:1 gear ratio and 11kg of maximum drag.
The two-piece setup is suited to casting and working heavier soft baits, metal lures and other inshore lure presentations.
The Reel
The Shimano Nasci 4000 XG FD Spinning Reel combines HAGANE Gear, X-Ship, InfinityDrive and SilentDrive for smooth winding and efficient power transmission. CoreProtect helps protect the reel from water penetration, while the G-Free Body shifts the centre of gravity closer to the rod. The AR-C Spool supports controlled casting, and Cross Carbon Drag provides smooth drag performance.
The Rod
The Shimano Limitless Heavy Inshore Spinning Rod is a crisp, responsive 7ft two-piece rod suited to casting and working heavier inshore lures. Its 30/40T carbon blank provides a responsive feel, while Fuji Alconite guides and a Seaguide HSC carbon fibre reel seat complete the setup. The split EVA butt assembly provides a comfortable grip during casting and lure work.
