A lightweight setup for responsive lure fishing
The Shimano Twin Power XD FB C3000HG Lunamis Medium Spin Combo pairs a lightweight 3000-size spinning reel with a 7ft 6in Medium rod for responsive inshore lure fishing. The Lunamis S76M is designed for crisp lure control and casting performance, while the Twin Power XD C3000HG provides smooth winding and a 9kg maximum drag.
Rated for 7-35g lures, the two-piece Lunamis rod suits a range of saltwater lure fishing applications, from casting smaller lures through to working heavier presentations.
The Reel
The Shimano Twin Power XD FB C3000HG Spinning Reel combines a lightweight MGL Rotor with a rigid Hagane Body for a compact setup with smooth, responsive winding. Infinity Cross and Infinity Drive support gear durability and winding power, while Infinity Loop supports casting performance. X-Protect helps protect key areas from water and foreign matter, while Duracross drag washers provide smooth and reliable drag performance.
With 9kg of maximum drag and 86cm of retrieve per crank, it is suited to a range of inshore lure fishing applications.
The Rod
The Shimano Lunamis Medium Spinning Rod is a lightweight 7ft 6in rod with a crisp, responsive feel for casting and working saltwater lures. Spiral X Core and Hi-Power X construction support blank strength and stability, while the Carbon Monocoque Grip helps reduce weight and improve sensitivity. The edge-shaped grip and Perfection Seat XT provide a comfortable, stable hold during casting and lure work.
Rated for 7-35g lures and PE 0.8-2 main line, the two-piece rod has a Medium power rating and a maximum jig weight of 45g. The AeroCoat finish completes the lightweight design, making it suited to a range of inshore lure fishing applications.
