Level up your egi game
The Shimano Miravel 2500 HG Sephia BB ML Squid Combo is the ultimate weapon for anglers looking to dominate the Squid grounds. By pairing the ultra-lightweight Miravel reel with the highly sensitive Sephia BB rod, you get a combo that makes detecting even the most subtle bites effortless. Whether you're spending hours on the wharf or casting from the rocks, this balanced setup reduces fatigue and keeps you in the zone longer.
The Reel
Building on the foundations of Nasci FC, the new Shimano Miravel 2500 HG Spinning Reel utilises a CI4+ body and sideplate for significant weight reductions. Cold-forged HAGANE Gear reel technology provides unparalleled gear durability. With premium performance at the forefront of design, Miravel features Silent Drive - the same technology found in Shimano's flagship Stella range. This technology translates into smoother operation due to finer gear tolerances, less vibration and improved longevity.
Purpose-built for finesse fishing in both freshwater and inshore saltwater environments, Shimano Miravel 2500 HG Spinning Reel is backed by CoreProtect water repellent technology which increases durability and water resistance without creating a heavy winding feeling. Additionally, a screw in handle design has been adopted for added strength and convenience. Fish confidently with Miravel in hand, the newest member of the family is ready for the challenge.
The Rod
The Shimano Sephia BB Medium Light Squid Rod takes your fishing to a whole new level! Featuring Hi-Power X blanks, original Shimano reel seat, and quality Fuji alconite K-type guides. Built tough yet sensitive for effortless fishing.
Hi-Power X
Hi-Power X construction makes the rod tougher and ensures it bends more accurately. The blank’s outermost layer is diagonally wrapped with carbon tape, which forms an array of “X” shapes. The width of the tape, its winding angle and the part of the rod being wrapped are fine-tuned according to the target fish species. In short, Hi-Power X construction delivers sharp and crisp rod control for the angler.
