The Shimano Baitrunner 6000 Divergex Extra Heavy Spinning Rock Combo combines a 9ft 8-15kg spinning rock rod with a 6000-size Baitrunner reel for targeting larger fish from the rocks. The two-piece Divergex features a lightweight 24T carbon blank, Seaguide zirconium guides and a split EVA grip, while the Baitrunner 6000 D offers 9kg of maximum drag and 245yds of 30lb PowerPro capacity. Together, they form a capable setup for rock fishing, straylining and live-baiting.
The Reel
The Shimano Baitrunner 6000 D Reel features Shimano's Baitrunner system, allowing controlled free-spool operation before the primary drag is engaged for the strike. Propulsion Line Management System and Varispeed Oscillation support controlled line handling, while the graphite frame and sideplate, machined aluminium handle and Dartainium II drag washers complete the reel's construction. The 6000 size, 9kg maximum drag and 245yds of 30lb PowerPro capacity suit heavier saltwater fishing applications.
The Rod
The Shimano Divergex Extra Heavy Spinning Rock Rod features a lightweight 24T carbon blank for casting and lifting strength when fishing from the rocks. Seaguide zirconium guides support smooth line management, while the Shimano custom reel seat and split EVA grip provide a secure hold. The 9ft two-piece rod is rated for 8-15kg line and 20-60g lures.
