The Shimano Saragosa 25000SW A Blackout Land Based Game Spin Combo is the ultimate setup for anglers who demand serious stopping power when targeting trophy fish from the bricks or via drone. This powerhouse combo pairs the legendary reliability of the Saragosa 25000SW A with the innovative, high-performance Blackout Rod, creating a lethal combination that turns big Kingfish away from the reef with ease. Whether you're dealing with heavy swell or high-stakes battles, this gear is built to take the punishment of the our harsh coastline. This combo is a must-have for the serious land-based hunter
The Reel
The Saragosa SW has built an incredible reputation and the new Shimano Saragosa 25000SW A Spinning Reel takes it to the next level. This awesome, large-capacity reel is great for anything from drone fishing to big game and heavy-duty Kingfish! Packed with upgrades to deliver great cranking power and unmatched durability, this is the perfect reel to tackle those big offshore brutes.
The compact body design improves the reel's handing under load and the weight has been reduced. The new range incorporates top tier Shimano technologies such as X-Protect, X-Ship, Hagane Body and Hagane Gear into its lightweight compact body. Drawing upon the Stella SWC, Infinity Drive is included and provides improved pinion gear support which translates to greater cranking power. The X-Protect water resistance system improves the line roller durability to an IPX8 standard and the Cross Carbon Drag system is now waterproofed. Built for big fish in salty conditions, the Shimano Saragosa 20000SW APG Spinning Reel will continue to push the boundaries.
Infinity Drive
With the Infinity Drive, the pinion gear inner does not make contact with the main shaft, as high-sliding bushing supports the main shaft and sliding resistance is reduced. In addition to this, a special skidding coating on the main shaft helps to further reduce sliding resistance. Infinity Drive cuts handle rotation torque by about 30% in comparison to the conventional system, and makes the reel more powerful. This enables anglers to wind more aggressively, even under heavy load.
Hagane Body
The Hagane Body chassis is made of highly rigid aluminium alloy. It eliminates flex, warp and distortion of the reel, and protects the engagement of gears inside. This allows for smoother winding.
Hagane Gear
Hagane Gear is at the very heart of the reel and creates strength and durability. The entire cold-forging process is calculated in minute detail by special 3D design and the result is precision durability.
X-Protect
By combining water repellent coating and specially designed, water channeling labyrinth construction, X-Protect provides high-level water resistance without sacrificing light gear and rotor rotation.
X-Shield
By placing sealing gaskets in 12 critical locations throughout the rigid aluminium body, Shimano is able to create a water resistant structure that can hold up against the toughest conditions and fish that Mother Nature has to offer.
X-Ship
By supporting the pinion gear on both ends with the S-ARB bearings and integrating bigger drive gear, Shimano increased the gearing efficiency and power. This results in a fishing reel with ultra-light handle rotation; less effort and power giving a perfect rotation even under heavy loads.
One Piece Bail
The one piece bail wire has no gap for the line to snag on during normal operation. Made of stainless steel, it reduces friction and allows the line to get into the line roller quicker.
Cross Carbon Drag
The drag material provides a wider range of drag settings, along with the smoothest Shimano drag performance ever.
The Rod
The Shimano Blackout Spinning Land Based Game / Drone Rod is engineered for the angler who demands uncompromising strength when targeting trophy fish from the rocks or via drone. Built with Shimano's innovative T45 carbon blank technology, this rod uses a unique multi-directional graphite weave to provide incredible lifting power and structural integrity. Despite its heavy-duty 50-80lb rating, the blank remains remarkably lightweight and sensitive, ensuring you feel every movement while maintaining the grunt needed to turn a big Kingfish away from the reef.
This rod is also packed with premium components designed to handle our harsh coastal environment. High-quality Fuji Alconite guides ensure smooth heat dissipation, which is essential when running heavy braided lines, while the secure, soft-touch Fuji reel seat keeps your reel locked tight during intense battles. The addition of custom Winn grips provides superior wet-weather traction and helps reduce hand fatigue during long, drawn-out fights. Finished in a glare-reducing matte black to avoid spooking fish in clear water, the Shimano Blackout Spinning Land Based Game / Drone Rod is a must-have tool for serious land-based hunters looking to level up their game. Grab yours today and get sorted for your next mission.
