High powered fishfinder great for finding deep water species

The new Furuno FCV-1150 12.1" Fishfinder has the potential to go very deep, opening you up to new structure and territory that hasn't been discovered before! Choose from a range of matching high powered transducers ideal for your vessel and fishing methods.

The FCV-1150 features a high-brightness fog-free LCD with AR-coated glass and anti-polarised filter, so you can view the screen clearly even in direct sunlight. And what's more its quick gain control function allows you to quickly find the most appropriate gain setting for the environment. And with white-edge function, bottom and seabed discrimination is enhanced even when experiencing the strongest echoes.

Furuno Digital Filter (FDF)
With Furuno Digital Filter, the FCV-1150 clearly shows target fish close to the seabed. The filter optimises the gain to obtain highly defined images. It also eliminates noise to deliver sharp and detailed echo presentation, achieving detection of fishing reef and even individual fish with absolute clarity.

The top of the seabed is displayed in white to easily discern seabed structure from bottom fish returns. While conventional bottom discrimination function called White Line applied to the strongest echoes, the White Edge function enhances the discrimination of bottom fish and seabed by painting a very thin line above the bottom contour regardless of gain setting or display colour.

Post-processing gain control gives you quick results
With Furuno's post-processing gain control, changes you make to the Gain settings are applied not only to the new echoes, but also to all past echoes on the screen. You can compare past and current echoes using different Gain settings, allowing you to quickly and easily determine the right Gain setting for your conditions. No more waiting for the screen to repaint to see if your settings are the way you want them to look!

Fine tune your Fishfinder with the operating frequency adjustment
When Furuno transducers are connected and set to the proper Fishfinder model, the operating frequency range will be registered and shown in the menu. You can shift the operating frequency freely between the ranges at any time from the menu. For example, with the Furuno CA82B-35R transducer, you can select any operating frequency from 66 to 109 kHz. This feature is particularly useful for vessels targeting many different species, or when the fishfinders of other ships in the area cause interference.

Increased transmission rate for detailed detection
The rate of transmission is increased by more than 30% compared to conventional Fish Finders. As the result, more detailed information about underwater conditions can be gained through the same sounding interval. With the AUTO transmission function, the rate is automatically raised in shallow waters and lowered in deep waters, which provides for detailed detection of seabed targets.

Furuno Free Synthesiser
The Furuno Free Synthesiser (FFS) Transceiver gives you a wide selection of operating frequencies. Choose any two frequencies between 28 and 200 kHz to fit your fishing operation. Also, you can change the frequencies at any time. Output power is selectable from 1, 2 or 3 kW.

The Transducers
The Furuno CA200B-8B Rubber Coated Transducer is a single frequency, high power 200kHz, 2kW commercial transducer designed to be mounted in tanks or sea chests.

The Furuno CA38BL-9HR FRP Transducer is a commercial transducer that has a bandwidth of 38kHz and is usable with FCV295, FCV1150, FCV1100, FCV1200, DFF3 and BBFF3 sonars. When used with the FCV1100/1200, sensitivity remains high even if the frequency is shifted +/- 10% to suppress interference. It's mounted in the tank or sea chest that's custom-built into the ship's hull.
