After the attack on Pearl Harbour, Hoyt Buck responded to the U.S. Government’s request for blade donations and began making knives by hand in the basement of a church in 1942, which then led to the transformation of its first knife into the iconic 119 special. It was a design that was dialled in after 40 years of making knives to customer specifications. This anniversary edition special features a custom medallion in the handle and a 75th anniversary blade stamp.
