The TRYCD ALLFLY Starter Light Fly Fishing Rod Kit is the ultimate 9ft 5/6 weight fly set. From beginners to advanced fishos, a 6wt line is the most commonly used line weight across the world (perfect for the majority of rivers in NZ). This rod gives you the ability to change your line to a 5 wt when conditions allow and it transforms into a slightly lighter setup (perfect for smaller fish or drift boat fishing).

The Base
The TRYCD ALLFLY Rod Base is the foundation of the ALLFLY rod, made out of 40T high modulus carbon and combined with the highest quality cork TRYCD could find. It's light and powerful and can be fished with or without the optional fighting butt. ALPS triangle reel seat allows for the most stable seating of most fly reels. Other features include a strategically located hook keeper, and a strengthened wall construction for nymph resistance, ALPS fly guides and diamond coated tip.
