The Abel Vertical Anchor Windlass with Capstan is a practical anchoring solution designed for powerboats and sailboats between 5m and 8m. Its vertical design keeps deck space clear, while the built-in capstan (warping) drum provides extra flexibility for anchoring and general line handling.
Constructed from 316 stainless steel, the rope and chain gypsy delivers smooth, reliable control when lowering or retrieving your anchor. A multi-fit marine-grade alloy gearbox and high-torque 600W motor ensure consistent performance. Suitable for use with 10 mm DIN766 chain and 14-16mm rope.
