Outfits a pair of outriggers
The AFTCO Outrigger Rig Kit includes everything you need to rig any pair of Kilwell outriggers. The super lightweight AFTCO Goldfinger release clips feature an anti-foul design to prevent fouling and tangling with outrigger lines or halyards. The numbered and graduated adjustment slider allows for precise tension adjustment. The gold titanium nitride coated wire bail allows smoother releases and less line wear.
The AFTCO Outrigger Rig Kit is highly ideal for fixed position bait trolling. Twist the fishing line 5 to 10 times before hooking loop over the clips bail. Attach the release clips directly to the outrigger halyard without the use of swivels. The adjustment-slider end of the clip needs to be “up” towards the tip of the outrigger. If you want to switch from a fixed position to adjustable trolling, you can pass the line over the bail without twists to let baits or lures slide freely.
