International rules require vessels at anchor to carry a single white light forward if under 150 feet in length, and if longer, two such lights, one near the stern and one forward (from sunset to sunrise).
The BLA Anchor Riding Light emits a bright white light to alert other vessels that you're riding at anchor. Essential to nighttime/low-light boating.
