The Shimano 24 Caius 150HGC Baitcaster Reel combines the finesse to fish effectively for smaller predators using small lures with the strength to overcome larger powerful predators. Its lightweight, compact body has proven technologies like the Variable Brake System (VBS), which applies centrifugal force and weights instead of magnets to temper initial spool acceleration. This design also allows the spool to spin freely until the end of the cast to reduce backlash. Working in tandem with the Super Free spool design eliminates distance-robbing friction and improves overall casting performance.
