Featuring a unique hybrid blank construction with a high-strength carbon Taftec Infinity core, it is reinforced by a Hi-Power FULLSOLID outer layer. This design eliminates weaknesses like unpleasant blurring and torsion, delivering a consistently smooth and powerful jigging action. The result is the outstanding, torqueful bend that's unique to a full-solid rod, with no power loss.
Exceptionally responsive, it allows you to master a wide range of actions, from slow jerking to fast luring. It's also equipped with a flat rear grip that greatly improves your maneuverability, especially when you use your elbow to work the jig. This allows anglers of all skill levels to firmly bounce the jig and create the exact action they want.
Hi-Power X FULLSOLID
The Hi-Power X FULLSOLID blank is a reinforced full-solid construction that utilises Shimano's unique carbon tape technology. The outermost layer of the blank is reinforced with Hi-Power X carbon tape, which eliminates twisting and power loss without hindering the delicate bending that makes a full-solid rod so unique. This structure eliminates the uncomfortable feeling caused by torsion, a common problem with full-solid rods, and provides a smooth, reliable rod action.
Taftec Infinity
Taftec Infinity is a high-intensity solid tip that offers three times the winding strength and five times the winding amount of our conventional solid tips. This technology surpasses even the strength of Taftec∞, giving you a tip that is exceptionally tough and reliable.
C14+
C14+ is an original Shimano material reinforced with carbon fibre that is lighter and has a higher strength than conventional resin material. C14+ is an advanced version of the original C14 material and is 2.5x more rigid than its predecessor. While improving lightness and rigidity, reel bodies, rotors, and reel seats built with C14+ are further reduced in size and weight.
