Automatic dual battery management for 12V systems
The Enerdrive Dual Battery Bank Charging Kit automatically manages charging between your start and auxiliary batteries. When the engine is started, the Voltage Sensitive Relay (VSR) remains open until the start battery reaches 13.3V, ensuring the primary battery receives the initial charge. Once the charging voltage hits 13.3V, the VSR engages, enabling both batteries to charge simultaneously. A red indicator light illuminates to signal that the VSR is active.
When the engine is stopped and battery voltage falls below 12.8V, the VSR disengages and separates the batteries. The indicator light turns off, while the auxiliary battery continues powering connected accessories without risking discharge of the start battery.
