The Catch Pro Series JGX5000 Jig Xtreme Acid Wrap Jigging Combo pairs the JGX5000 jigging reel with the Jig Xtreme Acid Wrap Rod for a solid setup built for jigging and targeting bigger fish. Both are designed and tested in New Zealand and the combo comes pre-spooled with 80lb Tokuryo Braid.
The Reel
The Catch Pro Series JGX5000 Right Hand Jigging Reel features a one-piece tempered aluminium frame for strength and stability, along with a smooth lever drag system with a drag clicker to alert you when line is moving. Its carbon dual drag system offers smooth, controlled performance for hard-fighting fish.
The Rod
The Catch Pro Series Jig Xtreme Acid Wrap Rod features a Japanese Toray carbon blank with an outer carbon cloth wrap for added strength. Its acid wrap guide configuration helps reduce rod twist under heavy loads, while K-series guides and a well-placed hook keeper round out the setup. Designed for mechanical jigging, the Xtreme is suited to targeting bigger fish.
