Note: The rivet like prongs need to be hammered (a ball hammer works best) into a dome shape. The connecting link should be placed on a hard solid surface (metal, vice, anvil, wood is not recommended) and with the chain connected the prongs should be rounded out into domes. The quality of the doming will dictate the service life of the link.
