The Reel
The Shimano Plays 4000A Electric Reel is poised to be the new basic of powerful electric reels, with a body that is redesigned to be low profile, enabling the user to control with a single hand. The thumb rest clutch and quick return clutch further enhance your reel handling while the MUTEKI motor greatly increases the power and speed. A smoother and stronger drag is achieved with carbon cloth washer and the newly added function instant stop allows the angler to instantly stop retrieving with just a press of a button. HAGANE Body
HAGANE Body is a metal reel body with high rigidity. The body rigidity and impact resistance virtually eliminate body flexing on the reel while fighting fish. The result transforms the angler's actions directly into cranking power.
Raku Raku Fixed Speed Mode
Raku Raku Mode: Winding with constant tension to match the load on the reel. It is effective when anglers use thin line, targeting fish with soft mouths or eat upward. Fixed Speed Mode maintains and winds a constant speed regardless of the magnitude of the load applied to the reel.
