Quick-release motor mount for Power Pole-ready kayaks
The Bixpy Power Pole Adapter for K-1 & J-2 Motors lets you mount a Bixpy Motor to a kayak using a standard Micro Power-Pole mounting position. If your kayak has four pre-drilled holes for a Micro Power-Pole, the adapter can be installed directly onto the kayak.
For kayaks that are Power-Pole ready but require a separate mounting plate, such as some Hobie Pro Angler, Wilderness A.T.A.K and Native Propel models, you will need the mounting plate specified by your kayak manufacturer.
The adapter can also be used on kayaks without a Power-Pole mount, provided there is a reasonably flat area at the rear of the kayak large enough to accommodate the adapter.
Bixpy Power Pole Adapter for K-1 & J-2 Motors Features:
- Quick-release design for easy motor installation and removal
- Hinged design allows the motor to lift completely out of the water
- 270-degree rotational trim; remove the pre-installed set screws to enable steering
- Waterproof, dirt-proof and corrosion-resistant housing and components
- Marine-grade stainless steel components for saltwater and freshwater use
- Motor should sit approximately 76.2-127 mm (3-5in) below the waterline, with additional depth recommended in choppy conditions
