The two-piece Taipan features an integrated graphite blank, Fuji O-Ring guides and full-length EVA grips, while the Baitrunner 6000 OC offers 9kg of maximum drag and PowerPro capacity up to 245yds of 30lb braid. Together, they form a balanced setup for targeting a range of saltwater fish from the boat.
The Reel
The Shimano Baitrunner 6000 OC Spinning Reel features Shimano's Baitrunner system for controlled free-spool operation when fishing with live or baited hooks. Propulsion Line Management System and Varispeed Oscillation support controlled line handling, while the cold-forged aluminium spool, Fluidrive II gearing and Super Stopper II anti-reverse complete the reel's feature set. Its 6000 size, 9kg maximum drag and high line capacity suit a range of boat fishing applications.
