The Bostik 2405 Part A Contact Adhesive is expertly developed for bonding rubber to substrates and materials. This is part A of a 2-part neoprene blend contact adhesive. It creates greater heat resistance and a stronger bond with Desmodur RFE. The resulting adhesive has excellent chemical resistance to acids, alkali, oil, petrol and kerosene. Ideal for use on rubberised (including Hypalon) canvas , natural and synthetic rubber, rubber to wood, metal (with Primer 17) and some rigid PVCs.

Note: The adhesive will deteriorate if subjected to high temperatures and/or humidity on a continuous basis. Not suitable for: polyethylene, polypropylene, Teflon, plasticised PVC except for low stress bonds, copper/brass and polystyrene foam.
