Sikaflex 296 Glass Window Adhesive Features:

  • High-performance elastic gap-filling 1-component polyurethane direct glazing adhesive
  • Cures on exposure to atmospheric moisture to form a durable elastomer
  • Certification: International Maritime Organisation (IMO), ISO 9001 / 14001
  • Use with all types of mineral glass-based window
  • Can be tooled to a very fine finish, and suitable for exposed joints
  • Low odour
  • Excellent working characteristics
  • Fast cure time

  • Chemical base: 1-C polyurethane
  • Cure mechanism: Moisture-curing
  • Non-sag properties: very good, with no tendency to sag or slump
  • Application temperature: + 10°C to + 35°C
  • Glass transition temperature: -45°C, approx.
  • Service temperature ( permanent ): -40°C to +90°C
  • Shelf life (stored below 25°C): 9 months
