Complementing Okuma's Big Game Saltwater arsenal, the new Okuma Tesoro 14000 Spinning Reel is redesigned from the ground up, allowing you to meet the big fish challenge with peace of mind at all times. Constructed with Okuma's Alumilite body, side plate and Cyclonic Flow Rotor construction for the ultimate in strength. With an IPX-7 full-body waterproof design, the Tesoro Spinning Reel is the ultimate in features and protection.

The Tesoro features a 12HPB + 1RB corrosion-resistant stainless-steel bearing drive as well as a carbonite high output DFD drag system with Cal's drag grease that puts out over 55-pounds of pure fish stopping drag. The reel is built with a custom titanium spool shaft that reduces flex and weight as well as oversized brass main gear and C-6191 brass pinion gear that is double supported with ball bearings. The frictionless main shaft design provides smooth operation day in and day out. The dual anti-reverse system provides maximum strength and reliability. The rigid machined aluminium screw-in handle design provides direct feedback when turning the handle and locks solidly into place. A rotor brake system works in conjunction with the Tesoro's manual bail trip design.

Alumilite Frame Construction: Aluminium Body, Sideplate and Cyclonic Flow Rotor
AlumiLite construction incorporates Okuma's rigid aluminium body technology on spinning, trolling and fly reel designs. Aluminium frames are stronger and more rigid and can withstand more pressure and torque than traditional graphite frames. These lightweight, diecast aluminium frames provide more precise tolerances for precision gear alignment, maximum castability and ultimate durability.

Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC): Even Flow Roller System with DLC Coating
The EFR II with DLC coating greatly reduces line friction allowing the fishing line to run more smoothly over this smooth surface, prolonging the life of the fishing line and the prevention of line twist.

Full Waterproof Body
In order to deal with the harsh saltwater environment, Okuma engineers developed a full waterproof body, reaching an IPX7 rating (1 metre submersion for up to 30 minutes). Giving anglers peace of mind when in saltwater environments.
