Precision spark plug for smooth combustion
The NGK 3981 BR9EIX Iridium IX Spark Plug delivers reliable ignition for smooth combustion and stable engine performance. Part of NGK’s Iridium IX range, it features a laser-welded iridium centre electrode that provides a consistent spark and long service life.
Designed for high-revving 2-stroke applications, it is commonly used in motorcycles and personal watercraft (PWC). It can also be used as a performance upgrade or equivalent replacement for standard BR9ES and BR9HS plugs in select outboard motors, including Yamaha, Johnson/Evinrude, Nissan/Tohatsu, and Suzuki models.
