The Kilwell PowerPole Stiff 3K Carbon Bent Base Outrigger Poles and Slimline Bases Set provides a complete outrigger solution for game fishing. The set includes a pair of lightweight 4.6m one-piece 3K carbon bent base outrigger poles and a pair of Kilwell Slimline satin black stainless steel outrigger bases, delivering a strong, reliable setup for trolling from walk-around and smaller boats. Cord rigging, release clips, and bungy cords are sold separately.
The Outrigger Poles
The Kilwell PowerPole Stiff 3K Carbon Bent Base Outrigger Poles are designed for walk-around and smaller boats, fitting directly into existing rod holders or rocket launchers. Built on Kilwell's proven Longreach outrigger mandrels with thinner walls and a 3K carbon wrap, they are approximately 40% lighter than Longreach outriggers while providing a stiff, lightweight design for reliable trolling performance.
Each one-piece 4.6m outrigger is fitted with a stainless steel bent base, stainless steel eyebolt guides, and a spear tip. The spear tip helps prevent the outrigger line from wrapping around the tip and becoming tangled. Supplied as a pair, they are ready for custom rigging (rigging kits sold separately).
The Outrigger Bases
The Kilwell Slimline Outrigger Bases are made from stainless steel with a durable satin black finish for reliable trolling performance. A slimline tapered main tube with concealed mounting bolts provides a clean, streamlined appearance, while the locking pivot arm securely holds the outriggers in the deployed position. Supplied as a port and starboard pair, the bases include upright clamps for securing the outriggers while motoring, stainless steel mounting bolts, and protective gaskets for installation on aluminium boats.
