The Manson Supreme Galvanised Anchor is designed for fast setting and dependable holding performance in a wide range of conditions. It is self-launching and self-righting, using a rollbar to help it set quickly and correctly on deployment. Once set, it is designed to hold securely and reset efficiently if wind or tide conditions change. Choosing the Correct D-Shackle Size:
When buying an anchor for your boat, you will need the appropriate D-Shackle to connect the rope and chain to your anchor. The recommended D-Shackle size for connecting your anchor to your chain is to get the next size up from your chain size. So if the chain is 6mm then an 8mm D-shackle is recommended. If it's a 7mm chain then an 8mm or 9mm D-shackle is recommended, etc.
