small inflatable tenders. The pack includes a Minn Kota salt water
transom electric motor featuring an extendable tiller arm and forward/
reverse as well as height adjustment and tilt. This is powered by a BLA
Marine Performance 12V 50AH Lithium Battery weighing only 6kg and
can be recharged with the included 7AH 240V BLA portable charger.
The advantage of this pack over other electric motors is the independent
slimline Lithium battery can be used for other applications when not
powering your tender. Choose between the 40LB thrust motor with 5
speed forward and 3 speed reverse, or for longer run time between
charges choose the 45LB motor which includes Minn Kota's Maximizer
technology and infinate variable speed. Run times between charges
depends on thrust speed but at lower speeds the Maximizer motor will
run for up to 10 hours and can be monitored via the BLA Marine
Performance App.

Thrust Refers to how powerful the motor is. Boat weight is key when determining how much thrust you need. General rule of thumb: you need at least 2 lbs. of thrust for every 100 lbs. of fully-loaded boat weight (people and gear included). If things like wind or current are major factors where you fish, you’ll want a little extra thrust.
Volts Indicates how much battery power your trolling motor requires. You’ll need 1 battery for every 12 volts in your trolling system. 55 lbs. of thrust or less = 12 volts, 1 battery 68-80 lbs. of thrust = 24 volts, 2 batteries 101-112 lbs. of thrust = 36 volts, 3 batteries
Shaft Length Choosing the proper shaft length is important—if it’s too short, the prop won’t be sufficiently submerged. We recommend submerging the centre of the motor section at least 12 inches. Please refer to this chart to determine the length that’s best for your boat.
