Safe and smooth operation
The NHK MEC Ke-4+ Electronic Control System offers an upgrade over the cable type control systems which can be cumbersome to install and operate. Up to 4 stations can be installed.
The NHK MEC Ke-4+ Electronic Control System Shift and Throttle Actuator allows various settings for actuator operation such as shift and throttle modes, push-pull cable stroke distances, etc. in order to match the KE-4+ system actuator outputs with a variety of engine and gearbox configurations.
NHK MEC Ke-4+ Electronic Control System Shift and Throttle Actuator Features:
- Selector knob for manual operation (in case of electrical
failure emergency)
- Ball joint socket for push-pull cable during manual
operation
- Temporary hub clamp for push-pull cable during manual
operation
- Push-pull cables to engine throttle and marine gear
levers
- Robust actuator encompassing both shift and throttle
functions
- IPX6 level water resistance
Installation:
- The actuator harness is 2m (6.5ft) in length. Select the
actuator location so that its distance from the control unit is 2m
(6.5ft) or less.
- Drill mounting hole locations based on the installation type A
(vertical) or B (horizontal) as per the drawings below.
- Install with included fasteners or with separately purchased
machine screws or tapping screw and washer.
- Fastener mounting plate thickness: 20mm min. (3/4in
min)
- Pilot hole diameter: 5mm diameter
