The Okuma ITX 3000 Spinning Reel is a lightweight, compact-bodied reel built with rigid C-40X long-strand carbon fibre. This advanced material is 25% stronger than standard graphite, and it's used in the body, side plates, and rotor—making the ITX perfect for all-day soft baiting and lure fishing. Whether you're targeting snapper, trevally, kahawai, or even the occasional kingfish, the powerful 8kg drag has you covered.
Designed for smooth, reliable performance, the ITX features a multi-disc carbon fibre drag system protected by Okuma’s Hydro Block Gasket to keep water out and drag performance consistent. It’s equipped with 7HPB + 1RB high-performance, grease-packed bearings, a precision machine-cut brass pinion gear, and a Quick-Set anti-reverse roller bearing to eliminate back play instantly.
The reel also boasts Okuma’s innovative CFR (Cyclonic Flow Rotor) technology, which promotes airflow to dry the spool and rotor faster, reducing corrosion. The two-toned anodised machined aluminium spool adds durability and style. Both the 3000 and 4000 models come with a 6.0:1 high-speed gear ratio, and the machined aluminium screw-in handle ensures a rock-solid feel with no annoying handle looseness over time.
