Its dedicated DSC channel sends digital distress messages that can reach nearby vessels - even if they’re not actively monitoring the radio - greatly increasing your chances of being heard. Plus, the built-in GPS receiver accurately tracks your vessel’s position anywhere in the world, and when a distress alert is activated, your exact coordinates and vessel ID are automatically included.
