Built tough for the big stuff
The PENN Senator Special 112H2 Jarvis Walker Rampage Boat Combo is a hard-working, reliable partner for any boat angler. Whether you're pinning a trophy Snapper or battling a feisty Kingfish, this combo gives you the strength and control to get the job done.
The Reel
Trusted by anglers for generations, the PENN Senator Special 112H2 High Speed Star Drag Overhead Reel delivers proven performance and durability for inshore, offshore, and deep-sea fishing. Built for tough boat conditions, it features a machined and anodised aluminium spool, Bakelite side plates reinforced with stainless steel rings, and a marine-grade bronze main gear - combining strength and longevity in one iconic reel.
The optimised gear ratio provides the perfect balance of torque for hauling fish and high-speed retrieval, while HT-100 drag washers ensure smooth, consistent drag under heavy loads. Perfect for trolling, live baiting and bottom fishing in NZ waters, it gives Kiwi anglers the rugged performance they expect from the PENN Senator Series.
The Rod
The Jarvis Walker Rampage 5901 Overhead Boat Rod is a brilliant all-rounder that punches well above its weight. Built with a tough, lightweight tubular fibreglass blank, this rod offers the perfect balance of a forgiving tip to detect those subtle bites and a powerful butt section to help you turn the tide on hard-fighting fish. Whether you're targeting Snapper or general boat species, its one-piece construction ensures consistent strength and reliability when you need it most.
Designed for comfort and longevity on the water, the Jarvis Walker Rampage 5901 Overhead Boat Rod features durable EVA grips that stay non-slip even when your hands are covered in bait or sea spray. It's equipped with line-friendly guides to keep your line in top condition and a quality reel seat that locks your overhead reel down tight for peace of mind during intense battles. Finished with an eye-catching silver and black coating, it's a stylish and practical addition to any boat rack.
