Extra warmth and insulation for colder dives
The Sharkskin Chillproof Mens Thermal Hooded Vest is designed to be worn under your wetsuit to provide extra warmth and insulation for your torso during colder dives. The sleeveless design helps keep your core warm without restricting arm movement.
The integrated hood protects against chafing from mask straps and helps keep your head and ears warm. It's flexible enough to be worn around your neck between dives while remaining comfortable. The Chillproof material also allows better hearing and helps reduce the chance of ear squeeze compared to traditional neoprene hoods. It's ideal for scuba diving, snorkelling, jet skiing, paddle sports, board sports, wind sports, sailing and many other watersports.
Chillproof Technology
Sharkskin's aquatic-specific Chillproof 3-layer composite material delivers the thermal properties of a traditional 2.5-3mm neoprene wetsuit without many of the drawbacks of neoprene. Its windproof, breathable construction helps reduce windchill while remaining flexible, neutrally buoyant and comfortable to wear. It can be worn on its own, layered under a wetsuit for extra warmth and wind protection, or combined with other Sharkskin garments for increased insulation.
