The Talica A raises the benchmark for compact lever-drag reels with ultra-smooth winding and powerful drag performance. Featuring a completely re-designed Infinity Drive drag system the new Shimano 25 Talica 50IIA 2-Speed Game Reel is capable of producing increased drag force with reduced side load pressure, this results in smooth and consistent line release while facilitating up to 30% lighter handle rotation in high-load situations. Improving on the S-Compact body design of the previous generation, the side-plate of the Talica 50IIA is 6% smaller while its rigid aluminium Hagane construction reduces overall weight and eliminates body-flex under load to provide optimal power transfer and reeling efficiency. By integrating X-Protect technology at key locations in the body structure, the Talica 50IIA has achieved improved water resistance, effectively increasing longevity and durability without sacrificing the light feeling of the gearing. A light-line drag cam is included, this provides added versatility and gives anglers the option to fish with a lower drag curve for light monofilament lines. Push the limits.
