The Shimano Kairiki 8 Braid uses state-of-the-art VT construction braiding technology to achieve high senstivity and castability. Featuring 8 carriers, the new tight weave VT construction is created by applying high tension at opposing directions during the braiding process. The braid fibre is woven evenly at all angles - resulting in a smoother finish and reduced diameter. Casting performance is significantly improved as the smooth finish creates less friction through the guides. The line’s tight weave also makes this braid ultra-sensitive thanks to its lower stretch. All these make the Shimano Kairiki 8 Braid an excellent choice for targetting your next big catch.
