The Shimano Grappler BB 151HG Left Hand Baitcaster Reel is a specialised low profile reel designed for light saltwater jigging, although it can also be used in deep freshwater situations. The tough lightweight Hagane body is more compact than traditional jigging reels and is fitted with a single power handle for increased winding torque, a reliable star drag and X-Protect water protection.
If you like to vertically jig with light and medium lures, using lightweight rods, you will quickly appreciate the unique features of the Grappler BB. Weighing in at only 210g, it balances modern lightweight jigging rods like the Grappler BB range perfectly, creating a super light combination that reduces fatigue during long sessions.
