The Shimano Carbolite SW Spinning Surf Rod offers anglers the unique combination of a high-modulus carbon blank built on mandrels developed specifically for casting with long-stroke surf reels. The Carbolite SW belongs to a range of rods featuring T45 rod blanks, a set of custom low profile grips and Fuji reel seats and guides. This results in the creation of a lightweight carbon blank that maintains incredible hoop strength and sensitivity. The rod has a slick butt and robust cap end to protect the blank from galvanised rod holders, making it perfect for a variety of surf conditions.
