The Shimano Vortex Overhead Boat Rod features a Power-Carbon blank specially designed to take the knocks, an integrated glass tip so as to retain sensitivity from the bite to the fight and also enhance overall performance without compromise. These features allow you to take full advantage of the more traditional bait fishing techniques. This rod is ideal for straylining with overhead reels and deploying baits in to the benthos for Hapuka and the like.
