The Shimano Zodias Medium Spinning Rod now features Shimano's exclusive Carbon Monocoque Butt for the ultimate in sensitivity. The Full Carbon Monocoque rod butt is made of hollow carbon construction, eliminating the use of EVA from the rear grip. This results in a very lightweight construction that is extremely sensitive and improves vibration transmission through the rod blank to your hand when working a lure. To provide the exact balance between power and finesse, the Zodias continues to feature Shimano's Hi-Power X graphite blank and Ci4+ Reel Seat. The Shimano Zodias Medium Spinning Rod also features upgraded Fuji Stainless Alconite K guides with a flexible solid tip. It has a slick red and black finish, making it a perfect match for many Shimano reels.
Carbon Monocoque
Carbon Monocoque grip is a carbon-moulded grip that is lightweight with high sensitivity, transferring even the smallest vibration to an angler’s hand. The Carbon Monocoque Grip increases sensitivity by 30% compared to traditional rod handles and utilizes a hollow structure that eliminates unnecessary parts of the rear grip to improve weight reduction and vibration transmission.
Hi-Power X Solid
The flexible solid tip is reinforced with ultra fine carbon tape. This reinforcement suppresses power loss due to twisting without hindering the delicate bending of the solid tip. Cast accuracy, operability, and sensitivity has been dramatically enhanced by the application of HI-POWER X Solid.
