In recent years, Ajing has become increasingly popular for targetting a wide variety of fish such as Yellowtail, Mackerel, Rockfish and many more. Supple and easy to use, the Shimano Soare TT S74LS Ajing Rod is a light game rod specifically designed for this type of fishing. It’s packed with a full range of functions for enjoying light game fishing. The bridge-like seat delivers superior sensitivity to your hands, while the Spiral X construction suppresses twisting and makes the rod lightweight. A solid tip also allows for enhanced bite detection.
Spiral X
Spiral X has a three-layer structure in which carbon tape is tightly wound diagonally in the opposite direction on the inner and outer layers of the rod longitudinal fibres. The diagonal fibres inside and outside can achieve high torsional and crushing rigidity while maintaining lightness. It’s Shimano’s “basic structure” that maintains lightness and improves instantaneous power transmission in fishing movements such as casting and fighting.
CI4+
CI4+ is a further evolution of Shimano’s original CI4 material reinforced with carbon fibre. It’s lighter and stronger than conventional resins.
Bridge-like Seat
The bridge-like seat is lightweight and fits in the palm. For Ajing fishing, you can set the down lock so that the rod is easy to raise. You can also set the lock up so it’s easy to lay down when Mebering fishing. The increased surface hardness makes it more sensitive than conventional materials and the compact design further improves sensitivity by reducing contact surface between the palm and reel seat.
