Designed for use with thinner diameter mono or ultra-fine braid, the Shimano Speedmaster Surf Tapered Leader absorbs the immense pressure generated during long-range casting. It suits all lengths of surf rods and casting styles.
The Speedmaster features a super-smooth finish to minimise friction as it moves through the rod guides, along with high abrasion resistance and excellent knot strength. Its tapered design creates a smaller knot connection, allowing the leader to pass smoothly through the rod guides and helping maximise casting distance.
