Long-distance casting for versatile inshore fishing
The Shimano Vanford C3000 HG A Dialuna Inshore Spin Combo is matched for the fisho who demands pinpoint accuracy and long-distance casting capabilities. By pairing the featherlight, carbon-infused 24 Vanford reel with the crisp, responsive Dialuna rod, this combo provides a seamless, high-sensitivity experience. Whether you're working minnow lures across the shallows or chasing active inshore predators, the 30% increase in vibration transmission from the Carbon Monocoque grip ensures you feel every tap and nudge, helping you stay locked into the bite.
The Reel
The Shimano 24 Vanford C3000 HG A Spinning Reel pushes the future of finesse fishing forward. Enhanced with the Ci4+ material for unmatched strength and lightness, and equipped with state-of-the-art technologies like Duracross, Anti Twist Fin and Infinityxross, the Vanford FA series promises superior performance for anglers of all levels.
The Rod
The Shimano Dialuna Inshore Medium Plus Spinning Rod combines lightweight handling with the crisp response and structural strength needed for modern inshore lure fishing. Its Spiral X and Hi-Power X construction helps improve blank strength and torsional rigidity while maintaining responsive rod control.
The Carbon Monocoque rear grip reduces weight and increases vibration transmission, helping you stay connected to your lure and detect subtle changes during the retrieve. With a 7ft 3in length, 8-36g lure rating and PE 0.8-2 line rating, this two-piece spinning rod is suited to long-distance casting, minnow-style lure work and a range of inshore fishing applications
Spiral X
Through its exclusive lightweight structure, Shimano's patented Spiral X construction enhances catching power for anglers. Spiral X construction consists of three layers: a middle layer of vertical fibers as well as inner and outer layers, both comprised of carbon tape that tightly winds the blank diagonally in opposite directions.
By using this carbon tape in place of a conventional horizontal fiber sheet, Spiral X achieves enhanced compression rigidity and increased torsional rigidity without adding extra weight. This in turn facilitates instant power transmission for precise casting and fish fighting.
Carbon Monocoque
Carbon Monocoque grip is a carbon-moulded grip that is lightweight with high sensitivity, transferring even the smallest vibration to an angler’s hand. The Carbon Monocoque Grip increases sensitivity by 30% compared to traditional rod handles and utilizes a hollow structure that eliminates unnecessary parts of the rear grip to improve weight reduction and vibration transmission.
Hi-Power X
Hi-Power X construction uses diagonally-wrapped carbon tape to form an array of "X" shapes on the rod blank's outermost layer. The width of the tape, its winding angle and the part of the rod being wrapped are fine-tuned according to the target fish species. This manufacturing process allows Shimano to adjust these wraps during construction for precise actions, enhanced overall strength and added twist resistance. In short, Hi-Power X construction delivers sharp and crisp rod control for the angler.
CI4+
CI4 is a Shimano original material reinforced with carbon fiber that is lighter and has a higher strength than conventional resin material. CI4+ is an advanced version of the original CI4 material and is 2.5x more rigid than its predecessor. While improving lightness and rigidity, reel bodies, rotors and reel seats built with CI4+ are further reduced in size and weight.
