Go-anywhere, adjust-on-the-fly shore fishing setup
The Shimano Vanford C3000 HG A Dialuna Zoom S76-86ML Spin Combo is the ultimate solution for fishos who demand versatility without compromise. Whether you're navigating tight estuaries, casting from low-lying kayaks or battling Snapper off high wharf railings, this setup solves the shore-fishing puzzle in one go. This combo pairs the incredibly lightweight and sensitive Shimano 24 Vanford C3000 HG A reel with the high-performance Dialuna Zoom rod. The innovative zoom system lets you adjust the rod length mid-session—shrink it down for pinpoint casting accuracy in structure, or extend it to full length for the extra leverage needed to punch lures into open water and keep hard-running fish clear of foul ground. Grab this versatile, high-performance kit and get sorted for your next mission.
The Reel
The Shimano 24 Vanford C3000 HG A Spinning Reel pushes the future of finesse fishing forward. Enhanced with the Ci4+ material for unmatched strength and lightness, and equipped with state-of-the-art technologies like Duracross, Anti Twist Fin and Infinityxross, the Vanford FA series promises superior performance for anglers of all levels.
The Rod
Combining high-performance shore-casting capabilities with an innovative length-adjusting zoom system, the new Shimano Dialuna Zoom S76-86ML Spin Rod is designed to tackle the ever-changing conditions of New Zealand's rock edges, estuaries, wharves and river mouths. Coastal landbased fishing constantly demands quick adjustments for shifting tides, changing currents and varying bank heights and this rod solves that puzzle in a single setup.
Zoomed into its shorter length, it delivers pinpoint casting accuracy for close-to-medium targets, tight structure and low-lying ledges or kayaks. Extend it out to its longer length, and you get the extra leverage needed for launching lures into open water, punching past the surf or clearing high rocks and wharf railings. You can even switch lengths mid-session, shortening it for tight, responsive lure control, then extending it during a brutal battle to keep hard-running fish like Snapper and Kingies clear of razor-sharp oysters and foul ground. It not only replaces two rods in your landbased kit, but opens up entirely new levels of versatility for Kiwi shore anglers.
