Hubbell YQ-230 Shore Power Adapter

Corrects electrical system mismatches

The Hubbell YQ-230 Shore Power Adapter is sealed against humidity, fog and rain and powers 50 amp 125/250 volt boat from (2) 30 amp 125 volt receptacles. Y-Q Adapter shuts off the power if an improper wiring condition exists on the power centre or if 1 plug is not fully engaged. A built-in safety indicator light warns the operator of faulty connections.

The YQ230 internal P.C. board senses both plugs are fully engaged, the polarity of the 30A receptacle on the dock is correct and the two 30A receptacles are from opposite phases. Also, the YQ230 will work regardless of whether the marina is powered with a 125/250V system or a 3-phase 120/208V system.

Note: The YQ230 Adapter will only work with two 30A receptacles that are on different phases.
