High yield adhesive foam
The Sika Boom Expanding Foam Filler is a one part, multi position, high yield polyurethane adhesive
foam used for fixing, insulating and filling connection joints around window and door frames, pipe entries around air‐conditioning vents and roller blind housings, etc. It's also used to insulate against sound, cold and draughts.
Sika Boom Expanding Foam Filler Features:

Sika Boom Expanding Foam Filler Specifications:
- Form: 1-part polyurethane, moisture curing
- Colour: Light yellow
- Specific gravity: 0.024 ±0.003kg/l (= 24 ± 3kg/m³)
- Skinning time: 10 ± 2 minutes (+23°c / 50% r.h.)
- Curing rate: A 20mm bead of expanded foam can be cut after 30
minutes (+23°C 50% r.h.). Full cure after 12 hours (+23°C / 50%
r.h.).
- Service temperature: ‐40°C to +80°C (temporary exposure up to
+100°C)
- Heat conductivity: ~ 0.0389 W/mK (DIN 52 612)
- Compressive strength: ~ 0.04 ± 0.01 N/mm² with 10% deformation
