Improved adhesion

The Sika Primer 209 D is a black, moisture-curing low viscosity primer specifically formulated for the treatment of painted surfaces or plastics prior to the application of Sikaflex direct-glazing adhesive.

Application
Surfaces must be clean, dry and free from all traces of grease, oil and dust and of sound quality. Thoroughly remove all loose particles and residues. When used with Sika Aktivator, follow application instructions for both products.

Shake the can of Sika Primer 209 D thoroughly until mixing balls are heard to rattle freely. The primer may be applied with a felt or foam applicator or other suitable application tools. Apply evenly a single thin coat of Sika Primer 209 D. Surface treatment and method of application depends on the specific nature of the substrates and the manufacturing process.
