Central to the design philosophy of the Daiwa Revelry is its Monocoque Body (MQ), a single-piece body that enables the use of larger internal gearing components and improves weather sealing. The Daiwa Revelry MQ HD 4000D-C Light Spinning Reel is machined from high-strength aluminium and designed for heavy-duty use.
Tough Digigear
Housed within these single-piece body structures is the new machine-cut forged alloy Tough Digigear. Increasing the diameter of the main gear has not only improved strength but also decreased winding inertia creating a more fluid effortless rotation.
LC-ABS
Casting performance has also been improved with the implementation of Long Cast ABS (LC-ABS) spool design. LC-ABS improves line flow from the spool, resulting in increased casting distances. While an ATD drag system provides reduced start-up inertia and smooth reliable drag performance throughout the drag range.
