The Shimano Stradic FM C5000 XG Spinning Reel continues its legacy of dependability and versatility with an all-new, upgraded redesign. Part of Shimano’s CoreSolid lineup, it incorporates proven technologies from Shimano’s flagship reels for unmatched performance.
InfinityXross extends the gear teeth horizontally to distribute load evenly, enhancing gear durability, while cold-forged HAGANE gearing and MicroModule II deliver smooth, precise reeling. InfinityDrive reduces rotational resistance and boosts cranking power, and the Duracross Drag system provides the smooth feel of felt with up to 10x the durability.
Built for challenging conditions, it features X-Protect water-repellent coating and a water-channeling labyrinth design to prevent water intrusion without adding drag. The Anti-Twist Fin, an elastic polymer under the roller, improves line management for monofilament and fluorocarbon lines, making every cast and retrieve effortless.
