Smooth performance and balanced design
Light, smooth, and sensitive, the PENN Fathom II 15 Allegiance II Strayline Combo is a pleasure to fish with. It features the smooth yet powerful Fathom II reel paired up with the light yet sensitive Allegiance II rod. A well-balanced combo for boat fishing and straylining!
The Reel
The second generation PENN Fathom II 15 Overhead Star Drag Reel is built with a rigid metal frame and sideplates, now with added features to make it more angler friendly than ever. Featuring PENN's fast gear access sideplate, any angler can service their gears and HT-100 drag system quickly and efficiently. The PENN live spindle design offers long, effortless casts, while the power gear ratios (select models only) give ultimate torque for winching up deep fish. Magnetic casting brake available on 12 and 15 sizes only.
The Rod
The PENN Allegiance II Overhead Straylining Rod is designed specifically for light-medium straylining. This rod is built with quality EVA grips, Fuji aluminium oxide guides, and a 100% graphite blank for extreme durability in a lightweight and sensitive package.
