Proper maintenance is key! The SUNCHEV Zinc Anode is an internal zinc anode used to prevent corrosion within the engine's water passages. Designed for a wide range of Yamaha 4-stroke outboard engines, generally covering small to mid-range outboards from 4HP up to 115HP.
Sacrificial anodes are the simple solution to keeping underwater metal parts in good working condition. They protect the metal parts of your vessel or engine from corrosive electrolytic (galvanic) action by acting as a decoy. So instead of expensive boat parts rusting away from exposure to saltwater, replaceable anodes will take the damage. It's a quick and easy solution to a potential major problem!
