The Platypus Platinum Monofilament is thinner than most monofilaments but does not skimp on strength and sensitivity. It offers high abrasion resistance and impressive knot strength. The thinner diameter offers more responsiveness due to the low elongation/stretch and decreased friction on the line, allowing your lure to work deeper. The reduced diameter also means more line on your spool, giving you more time to fight those bruisers from the deep.
