Money Back Guarantee
If you change your mind about your purchase, we will be more than happy to offer you an exchange, voucher or refund as long as:
- You return the product within 28 days of purchase
- You provide proof of purchase
- You originally purchased the product with the intention of keeping
- The item is unused and in its original packaging
This does not apply to:
- perishable goods such as food and bait
- copyright infringement products such as software & DVDs
- airtime credits and SIM cards
Refunds
We can only issue a refund or voucher by request when the item is unused and in its original packaging.
Consumer Guarantees Act 1993
The Consumer Guarantees Act sets out minimum standards for goods sold by Marine Deals Ltd. In the event that goods sold are deficient or are faulty, the retailer has the right to repair, replace or refund.
Fair Trading Act 1986
The Fair Trading Act is designed to protect the customer from being misled, either intentionally or unintentionally. This applies to all aspects of the promotion and sale of goods and services including: pricing; where the product was made; where the product is from; the meeting of New Zealand safety standards; availability of products in store and the sales techniques used. The Commerce Commission enforces the Fair Trading Act 1986.
Faulty Products
Where a product is faulty or damaged due to manufacturing faults we will at our discretion, either:
- repair the product; or
- replace the product; or
- give you a full refund.
Returning Items
We do not pay for shipping costs of returning items to our warehouse.
How to make a Warranty Claim
If you wish to return your product or require a replacement then the FASTEST way is to lodge a request. Then just follow the simple instructions to create your product return / replacement request. Once your request is lodged we will check our records and contact you as soon as possible.
Payment, Pricing & Promotions
We use BNZ and DPS Payment Express to accept Visa, Mastercard, QCard, UnionPay and AliPay payments. DPS Payment Express is the number one payment gateway in New Zealand so you can be sure your details are kept safe and secure. All payments are in New Zealand dollars. Marine Deals Ltd is a NZ owned business and the name Marine Deals will appear on your cardholder statements for any transactions made through this website.
We also allow payment via Internet Banking via POLi. With POLi you no longer need to have a credit card when shopping online. POLi allows you to pay for your purchases straight from your bank account using your Internet Banking. Unlike a credit card, there are no fees to use POLi. It’s free and you don’t have to register. POLi supports all leading Internet banking sites in New Zealand.

It’s easy to view your order. When you placed your order you will have received a confirmation email which gives a link to your order. Alternatively you can simply login to your account and see your order here.

'In-stock Products' vs. 'In Stock with Supplier'
Products that are in stock are clearly marked "In Stock". We ship these products to you straight away.
We do present some less popular products that are held by our suppliers (usually the manufacturer distributor). These products are clearly marked with their availability - for example: "Usually ships within 6-13 days". If you order a product that is marked like this then once you place your order, we immediately place an order with the supplier. Once we receive the product from the supplier we then ship it to you straight away.
Lowest Price Guarantee
We work really hard EVERY DAY to ensure you get the best prices you'll find. IF you find the SAME product elsewhere tell us, and we'll match OR do better!
Our Lowest Price Guarantee excludes limited time specials, clearances, non-stocked products, overseas websites, price comparison websites and eBay/TradeMe though if you do find something on special elsewhere do tell us, we may still manage to surprise you.

We can change our prices at any time before an order is placed without prior notice.
Errors and Omissions
We pride ourselves in getting things right, but sometimes we do make mistakes! This can apply to advertising, quotes, or invoices. Sorry. If a mistake is discovered we'll always provide the option of returning the goods / cancelling the order for a full refund.
